1) Purpose & Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Assure Lead LLC (“Assure Lead,” “we,” “us,” “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, tags, SDKs, local storage) on our websites, landing pages, dashboards, and emails (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy and Do Not Sell/Share choices. Where required, we obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
2) Definitions
Cookies: Small files placed on your device by a website.
Local/Session Storage: Browser storage mechanisms used to save settings or identifiers.
Pixels/Tags/Beacons: Code that loads when you visit a page or open an email to record events (e.g., page view, conversion).
SDKs: Software development kits used in apps to collect analytics or deliver ads.
Sell/Share/Targeted Ads: As defined by CPRA/US state laws (cross-context advertising may be a “Share”).
3) How We Use Cookies (Categories)
We group technologies into these categories. Essential cookies are always on; others are optional via your preferences.
Essential / Strictly Necessary – Security, load balancing, session management, consent logs.
Functional / Preferences – Remember choices (e.g., language, region, UI settings).
Performance / Analytics – Measure traffic, diagnose issues, A/B testing, improve UX.
Advertising / Retargeting – Show relevant ads, measure ad performance, limit frequency.
Security / Fraud – Bot detection, abuse prevention, rate limiting.
Experiments – Feature flags and experimentation frameworks.
4) Legal Bases & Frameworks
EU/UK (GDPR/ePrivacy): Essential cookies = legitimate interests; all non-essential cookies require consent.
US State Laws (CPRA, CO, CT, VA, UT, OR, TX, TN, DE): Some analytics/ads uses may be treated as Sell/Share/Targeted Advertising. You can opt out via the Do Not Sell/Share link and/or the Preferences Center.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): We treat valid GPC signals as an opt-out of Sell/Share/Targeted Ads for that browser.
5) Your Choices & Controls
Banner & Preferences Center: Manage categories at any time via the link in our banner or footer (Cookie Settings).
GPC/DNT: We honor GPC as a sell/share/ads opt-out. We do not respond to legacy Do Not Track (DNT), but provide equivalent controls here.
Browser Settings: You can block/delete cookies in your browser; some features may not work without Essential cookies.
Email Pixels: Disable “auto-load images” to limit open-tracking in some email clients.
Mobile IDs: Reset your device’s advertising ID (iOS/Android) and adjust ad preferences in OS settings.
Do Not Sell/Share: Use the footer link to opt out of cross-context advertising where applicable.

7) Server-Side Tagging (if used)
We may route event data through our own servers (“server-side tagging”) to improve security and data minimization. Where third-party ad/analytics partners receive data, those disclosures are reflected in this Policy and our Privacy Policy. Your opt-out/consent choices are preserved in this flow.
8) Data Retention
Cookie-level data is retained no longer than necessary for the stated purposes. Typical maxima:
Analytics: up to 26 months (provider defaults).
Advertising IDs: up to 24 months, shorter if you opt out.
Consent logs: at least 12 months (or as required by law).
See our Privacy Policy for overall retention and deletion practices.
9) Children
Our Services are intended for business users and adults. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies on users under 13. If you believe a child has interacted with our Services, contact [email protected].
10) Regional Disclosures
EU/UK/EEA: We use a Consent Management Platform (CMP). Non-essential cookies fire only after consent. You may withdraw consent anytime in the Preferences Center.
California (CPRA) & other US states: Some analytics/ads uses may be treated as Sell/Share/Targeted Advertising. Use Do Not Sell/Share and the Preferences Center to opt out; we also honor GPC.
Other Regions: We apply equivalent safeguards to meet local requirements.
11) Security & Fraud Prevention
We use certain cookies/headers to protect accounts, prevent abuse, detect bots, and ensure service integrity (e.g., rate limiting, anomaly detection). Disabling these may impair the site.
12) Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our vendor list. The Effective Date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated via on-site notice and/or email where appropriate.
